Hello and welcome to my lovely abode. My name is Ethyl. Here in this wonderful world full of restrictions and repressions is the place where you can see me be free in my own version of the world. A place unabashed of suppressions from society that you might think of me as nothing more than a madman the more you read this, but you may be right. I am nothing more than a human with their own flaws with a slight tinge of perfection.

Please, make yourself at home. I know the place is quite barren and riddled with digital cobwebs and such, but if, for some reason, you are willing to stay, go ahead. I won't stop you. After all, there is nothing you can find here that you can classify as "entertaining".

However, if you are only here to visit just to take a gander or passing by through your way through parts unknown, I still welcome your presence. Just know that this website will evolve into something great one day. I will rue the day that this website would become one of the greatest of all times but of course, I like to embellish my own statements and such for laughs and giggles.

I suppose calling this area a "hearth" is befitting enough, because I'd like to think of this as nothing more as a product of my own personal hell. A desolate place filled with nothing but writings on the wall or perhaps a paper-covered wall—only that it makes up only....two papers. So far, I have nothing to say other than I enjoy learning a foreign language in the arts of programming; this language they call "HTML" or a Hyper Text Markup Language as they call it. It only makes up the texts of this sordid house but in time, this whole area will become a magnificent piece of art! My own Mona Lisa! A website that I can call my magnum opus! A website that I can treat like my own child....

Of course, you can only do so much by being monolingual in the world of programming and web design, so why not learn more? Learning HTML isn't as hard as I thought it would be, especially when I recorded these languages with a writing implement! Isn't that how history gets recorded? The amount of ink being used to paint on a blank sheet of paper being converted into a document full of useful information is quite fascinating for me. It's a skill that I cannot master, yet I still do it. It shouldn't matter anyway for this website is going to be the Cain to my Abel...

I will never forget this night. I normally don't like getting emotional but to be able to hang out with people outside of your tight knit community then losing contact with them soon after is akin to that of real life. I will remember the feeling of lying down on the green grass as the slight cold wind passes through my body. The area being surrounded by pine trees while a distant, abandoned castle loomed in the distance as if its waiting for its owner that will never come; maybe the owner already did returned and I just didn't notice though but that's irrelevant! As I gaze onto the dark yet starry night sky by the campfire surrounded by multiple users, myself included, who are talking amongst themselves, its a nice change of pace from a frenetic, accelerated nature of a massive dystopia disgused as a utopia called "social media". I have vague memories of what a chatroom is particularly because, as a young lad, the only place where you can talk to people is usually in either a tight knit house called Blockheads, a silly mobile game that essentially combines Minecraft and Terraria together to make a fun interactive software, or a massively, overpopulated metropolis called Facebook. It's feelings like this that made me wonder why I haven't joined the Neocitizens sooner or later when I have known about the existence of Neocities for quite some time now. Being fascinated by the hearth's that other users have made has certainly piqued my interests, but not to the point that I wanted to join in. I, now, look at that moment of yours and realized that if I had just learned the god's language earlier, I would've become a digital god right about now, but its never too late to start, right? I may be just an average digital citizen here in the confines of neocity filled with digital gods but sooner or later, I WILL become one of the great digital gods in this neocity!

Speaking of my own hearth, it is missing some pizzazz but I have learned a thing or two about one of the languages of the gods! It is a very exciting endeavour for me to know that I have a little canvas for me to paint my paintbrush with! A gigantic marble for me to sculpt into! Oh, how I wish I could decorate this place right now with colors and exciting new features but right now, it seems like the time hasn't come just yet. It will have to wait before I eventually learn the other god's language before I can finally decorate it. Maybe I can even try some of the features that I've learned but as of right now, it seems like those features can wait....for now!!!

Don't check it out! It's literally nothing. I'm leaving this up for reference purposes
